Why Sizing Matters

Every set of SoPressed nails is handmade to order, which means there’s no such thing as “one-size-fits-all.” Your set will be made just for you, based on your correct nail sizes.

To make sure you get the perfect fit, there are two easy ways to size your nails:

 

Option 1: Order a Sizing Kit

The easiest and most accurate way!

A sizing kit lets you try on real nail tips in your chosen shape and length before placing your order. Simply:

- Order a kit in your preferred shape/length.

- Try on the tips at home to see which sizes fit each nail bed best.

- Record your numbers on the sizing card and use them when ordering your press-ons! 

👉 Best for: A no-guess, worry-free fit.

Option 2: Measure at Home

Prefer to skip the kit? You can measure your nails yourself with just some tape and a ruler.

- Place a piece of clear tape across your nail bed.

- Mark the widest points of your nail with a pen.

- Peel off the tape and measure the distance between marks in millimetres.

- Match each measurement to the sizing chart below.

How to Use the Chart

- If you measured your nails at home, find the millimetre width of each nail and match it to the chart.

- If you used a sizing kit, each sample tip is stamped with a number—simply record those on your sizing card. 

- You’ll end up with a set of 10 numbers (one for each nail). Example:

Right hand – 2,5,4,6,9

Left hand – 2,5,4,6,9

This set would be a Small.

 

Remember to measure all 10 nails, your nails won't necessarily be the same for both hands! 

 

Standard Nail Sizes

Size Thumb, Index, Middle, Ring, Pinky

XS - 3 - 6 - 5 - 7 - 9 (14mm, 11mm, 12mm, 10mm, 8mm)

S - 2 - 5 - 4 - 6 - 9 (15mm, 12mm, 13mm, 11mm, 8mm)

M - 1 - 5 - 4 - 6 - 8 (16mm, 12mm, 13mm, 11mm, 9mm)

L - 0 - 4 - 3 - 5 - 7 (18mm, 13mm, 14mm, 12mm, 10mm)

 

Custom Sizing

Don’t see your exact fit? No worries! If your nails don’t perfectly match the standard sets or your hands are slightly different, select custom when ordering and leave your exact sizes in the notes (e.g., Right: 2,6,5,6,8 Left: 2,5,4,6,9).
